St. Lucie County launches Small Business Assistance Grants program to provide emergency relief to hardest hit small businesses

St. Lucie County is launching a COVID-19 small business grant program to provide rapid economic relief, offering up to $5,000 for businesses with up to three employees and up to $7,500 for those with four to 10 employees. Applications open Monday, Aug. 3, and grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible businesses with 10 or fewer employees and less than $1 million in annual revenue. Funds may be used for expenses such as rent, utilities, and reopening costs, with priority given to businesses that did not receive other pandemic-related aid.
