Another Milestone Achieved in Ambitious Plan to Create Permanent Wildlife Corridor, Protect Hobe Sound Character

The Loxa-Lucie Headwaters Initiative is moving forward with plans to acquire a second 20-acre parcel along Bridge Road in Hobe Sound, expanding efforts to create a permanently protected ecological corridor between the Loxahatchee and St. Lucie rivers. The acquisition would help restore wetlands, protect critical watersheds, and strengthen wildlife connections as partners seek private and state funding to preserve this vital ecosystem for future generations.
