2022 Florida Ranches Calendar Now Available for Sale. This year's theme focuses on Florida Wildlife Corridor ranches
Palm City, Fla. – The 2022 Florida Ranches Calendar featuring stunning photographs of Florida Ranches by award-winning National Geographic photojournalist and eighth generation Floridian Carlton Ward, Jr., is now available for sale - just in time for holiday giving.
“The Florida Ranches Calendar, now in its seventeenth year of publication, continues to serve as a unique educational and advocacy tool and helps to tell the story of Florida’s working cattle ranches and the critical role they play in preserving the state’s environmental, agricultural and cultural heritage,” said Stacy Weller Ranieri, president of the Firefly Group and publisher of the calendar.
The 2022 Calendar focuses on legacy ranches located within the iconic Florida Wildlife Corridor, a statewide network of lands and waters that recently benefited from a $50 million public investment by the Florida Legislature to conserve key properties and protect Florida’s wildlife and wild lands. “This year’s focus on the Florida Wildlife Corridor is particularly encouraging – as it recognizes the success that can be achieved when politics are put aside and people from diverse backgrounds come together to agree that our precious and diminishing natural resources are worth protecting,” added Ranieri.
In addition to photos by Ward, the calendar also includes photographs by Conservation Florida’s Adam Bass and winners of the 2022 Florida Ranches Calendar Contest. The images capture the beauty and diversity of these ranches and the cattle industry which are essential to the environmental health and economic well-being of the state. Forewords written by Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson, Florida Wildlife Corridor Coalition CEO Mallory Dimmitt, and Conservation Florida CEO Traci Deen, Esq., also offer insights and inspiration.
The Florida Ranches Calendar is a perfect classic gift for family, friends and business associates. It’s both practical and beautiful as it celebrates an essential aspect of Florida life.
