Adams Ranch
Founded in 1937, Adam’s Ranch is a fourth generation cattle business headquartered in Fort Pierce, Florida. Firefly worked with the Ranch and its team during the process of creating a Rural Land Stewardship program for its 23,000+ acres of land in St. Lucie County. The Firefly Group participated in the strategic planning and educational outreach efforts for the program, as well as creating the Stewardship logo, facts sheets, postcards for public meeting notification, other collateral materials and a website for Family Lands Remembered, which provided detailed information about the program as it went through the public review process.

AgTEC
King Ranch/Consolidated Citrus is turning a 1,700-acre dead citrus grove in Martin County into a plan known as AgTEC and has received approval for a new land use on their property that will create an ideal location to attract a range of targeted employers to diversify Martin County’s economy while respecting the community’s character. The Firefly Group is responsible for branding, media relations, community outreach and strategic planning efforts including logo design, fact sheets, e-newsletters and other public communications efforts, as well as development and maintenance of the educational website.

Alico Land Development, Inc.
Alico Land Development, Inc. is a subsidiary of Alico, Inc. – a land management company with roots stretching back more than 100 years and a presence in Florida since the 1940’s. The company manages 135,000 acres of land in Central and Southwest Florida in Collier, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Polk Counties. The Firefly Group helped in the branding process with the creations of their new company logo, message point development and website design.

Atlantic Preserve
Firefly provided branding, collateral materials and website development, community outreach and media relations services to a landowner in support of their plans to donate to Martin County about 2,300 acres of conservation lands listed on Florida Forever’s acquisition list. In exchange, the landowner requested approval to build up to 650 homes clustered on approximately 400 acres of cleared uplands.

Huizenga Holdings and Bonefish Mac
Rather than a run-of-the-mill shopping center, Huizenga Holdings created a distinctive “Old Florida” look and feel for The Shoppes at Veranda Falls in Port St. Lucie, Florida. When one of the new anchor restaurants, Bonefish Mac’s, was ready for its grand opening The Firefly Group was engaged to help coordinate and promote the new center including development of collateral materials, media releases and an NFL Draft Day Blowout event attended by thousands.

Florida Ranches Calendar
With its inception in 2006, the Florida Ranches Calendar continues to illustrate the breathtaking beauty of Florida’s extraordinary ranch lands. The calendar’s purpose is to educate and connect residents to the importance of Florida’s oldest and largest industry. The Ranch Calendar captures a unique look at the generations of environmental stewardship that have occurred on these cattle ranches and the critical role they play in honoring and preserving Florida’s agricultural and cultural heritage. The Firefly Group serves as the coordinator, publisher and promoter of the calendar which has received numerous statewide awards.

Evans, Properties
Evans, Properties founded in 1951 in Dade City, Florida is a family-owned agricultural and land-management company with properties in eight counties across Florida. Evans is one of the largest citrus growers in the state, operating more than 16,000 acres of citrus groves. The Firefly Group created the company’s website and is supporting their efforts to expand and brand their operations through the development of collateral materials and community outreach activities.

Farmton
Since the 1920’s, the Chicago-based Miami Corporation, has been an outstanding steward of its 59,000-acre Farmton Tree Farm in Florida’s Volusia and Brevard counties. A visionary, long –term plan for Farmton was approved in both counties in 2010 after several years of public review and community involvement. The plan will permanently preserve more than 40,000 acres of natural habitat and wildlife corridors – at no cost to taxpayers – while creating a sustainable new community when the market recovers. The Firefly Group has played a central role in the public engagement process for the Farmton Plan, including branding and logo design, fact sheets, notepads, folders, and display materials development, website development and content management, media relations and public meeting coordination.

Gathering of the Goddesses
An annual fundraiser targeted towards women throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County, Firefly has provided paid and pro bono support for the event including events logistics and planning, media relations, sponsorship solicitation packages, logo development, invitation design and other collateral materials.

INEOS New Planet BioEnergy
INEOS New Planet BioEnergy is a clean energy plant focused on the production of renewable fuel and energy from non-food sources. They are building the first commercial-scale BioEnergy Center in Indian River County, Florida using INEOS Bio’s patented technology to create bioenthanol. The Firefly Group provides branding, website and collateral materials development, media relations and community outreach support.

Jensen Beach Moorings
Jensen Beach Moorings is a 44.5-acre moorings field being proposed in Jensen Beach, Florida. Construction of the moorings field would result in an increase in affordable mooring options, more attractive waterway views, and better water quality through proper vessel waste handling and the prevention of illegal dumping. Firefly provides community outreach support for the proposed plans, including logo and website and fact sheets development as well as coordination of public meetings.

Keep Martin Beautiful
Keep Martin Beautiful is a non-profit, volunteer-based, community action organization based in Martin County, Florida with a mission to preserve and enhance the quality of life in the community through litter prevention, waste reduction, environmental stewardship and education. The Firefly Group handles all facets of the organizations operations including all branding, events coordination, graphic design, collateral materials development, marketing and promotional materials, website maintenance and T-shirt design.

The Manatee Pocket Project
The Manatee Pocket Project is a dredging project that entails the removal of approximately 280,000 cubic yards of sediment that has been accumulating for years in the Manatee Pocket (part of the St. Lucie Estuary system) in Port Salerno, Florida.
The ‘muck’ has negatively impacted the natural environment and reduced access to homes, business, and recreational activities. The project will restore the historic navigability of this waterway while improving the health of the pocket. The Firefly Group designed the project website and is responsible for its maintenance. Firefly also coordinates all facets of public outreach and communications activities including the development of educational facts sheets, displays, PowerPoint’s presentations, e-newsletters, promotional items and handled all logistics for a community-wide groundbreaking celebration.

Oyster Reef Restoration
Oyster Reef Restoration is a project involving the placement of more than 30 million pounds of cultch (fossilized shell, coral, etc) that will be distributed within the St. Lucie Estuary. The cultch will provide a habitat for oyster colonization. In order to establish a unified brand, The Firefly Group designed the logo and website, in addition to fact sheets, business cards, mailing cards and promotional items.

Tykes & Teens is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and their families through mental health counseling and substance abuse prevention and treatment. The Firefly Group created a new brand identity through the development of an engaging new logo, new program/services brochures and a donor-targeted booklet to connect potential funders to the organization’s mission.

Treasure Coast Intermodal Campus(TCIC)
Treasure Coast Intermodal Campus(TCIC) is an integrated logistics center (ILC) being proposed in southwestern St. Lucie County, Florida. The facility would enable South Florida to capture growth taking place in global trade and also capture growth that will result when the Panama Canal completes its expansion in 2014. Should the plans move forward, TCIC’s 30-year build-out could provide as many as 25,000 jobs onsite and would serve as a catalyst for sustainable economic development in the surrounding regions for generations to come. The Firefly Group designed the project logo, website and printed collateral materials, community outreach and media relations.

Treasure Coast Wildlife Center(TCWC)
Treasure Coast Wildlife Center(TCWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and the conservation of natural habitats. TCWC’s primary purpose is to rehabilitate and return to the wild the sick, injured and orphaned animals that are brought to the center while educating the public about the environment and wildlife. Firefly designed the logo and created an updated, engaging design template for the organization’s newsletter.

Winslow’s Point
Winslow’s Point will be a new multi-use community located at the southern limit of the City of Lake Wales on the northern banks of Crooked Lake in Polk County, Florida. Alico Land Development’s plan for the community will provide a blend of residential, office and retail opportunities in conjunction with preserving approximately 134 acres of environmentally sensitive lands. Firefly designed the community’s logo and website as the plans were progressing through the development review process.
