PORT ST. LUCIE – On April 26, 2008 nearly 2000 people watched the NFL Draft at the newly opened Bonefish Mac’s, which served as the first ever “Miami Dolphins Draft Day Headquarters” for Martin and St. Lucie Counties. Today, the restaurant and sports grille located in the Shoppes at Veranda Falls on Becker Road is celebrating one year in business on the Treasure Coast.
The Key West fishing-themed restaurant, which prides itself on a casual setting with high quality food and service, has another location in Lighthouse Point, FL. Bonefish Mac’s owners chose to expand to the location on Becker Road due to its close proximity to Palm City, as well as St. Lucie County. Nearly one year after the Grand Opening Draft Day event that drew massive crowds with appearances by Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Dolphins Alumni John Offerdahl, and Hall of Famer Dwight Stephenson, Bonefish Mac’s is proud to announce that they are still going strong.
“As our community continues to face tough economic times, we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be celebrating our one year anniversary,” said Jane McLaughlin, owner of Bonefish Mac’s. “We understand and appreciate the value of a meal and are trying to give our customers a break with various specials, such as ‘Kids Eat Free Mondays’ and others that run throughout the week.”
Bonefish Mac’s is located in the Shoppes at Veranda Falls on Becker Road in Port St. Lucie near the Florida Turnpike Exit 138 (across from Tesoro).
