I believe that work and fun are not mutually exclusive. In fact, I don't call it work, I prefer the term “goal-oriented play.” And speaking of goals, I believe that they are absolutely essential to our business. Conducting a public relations program without clear goals and objectives is like going on a road trip without directions (or a GPS unit for those directionally challenged like me!) I enjoy developing creative strategies that add fuel to the fire and achieve results for our clients.

I am fortunate to collaborate with a team of creative, fun and dedicated professionals. I love the vivacious personality of The Firefly Group—everything from the unconventional titles, to the bright décor of the office (and fabulous paintings by our very own Chief Illuminator). It's easy to feel inspired when you are surrounded with so much energy. Oh, and the chocolate helps too.

Origins...
I was born and raised in Plainview, New York, but have spent more than half of my life in Florida. I attended the University of Florida and I am a self-proclaimed obnoxious Gator fan. After graduating from UF in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in advertising, I gained seven years of public relations experience in the electric utility industry. In 2005, I earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Universal Accreditation Board.
Random Tidbits...
If I seem a little weary, it's not from an exciting social life. My lack of sleep is thanks to my two adorable children, Evan, 5, and Camryn, 2 . Although we recently moved to the Treasure Coast, my husband, Shawn, has roots here and was a graduate of Martin County High School. He is an Environmental Analyst with the South Florida Water Management District. My guilty pleasures include celebrity gossip magazines, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Facebook and McDonald's french fries.
