the Jar Tender at the Firefly Group but am more formally known as the Office Manager. Patient and dedicated. A true problem-solver. But mostly entertaining, and a self-proclaimed fabulous person who is in love with her family.
I enjoy being a part of genuine teamwork. Around here, we rely heavily on each other from start to finish, while remaining unique, independent characters of our own. In addition to our internal team, I love serving our diverse group of clients, all with varying and individual goals and objectives. Watching the creativity in works in this office is always an illuminating process. When things get hectic around the office, that’s when my true colors shine, bringing all the pieces where they need to be. Working has always been one of my favorite things to do, which is good since I’ve been working full-time since the age of 16! I always bring my strong work ethic to the office in order to guarantee success for our team and most importantly, our clients.
I was born in Neptune, New Jersey, but was raised most of my life in Hobe Sound, Florida. As a proud HSL original I loved everything about growing up there - riding my bike to the beach, surfing all day and bon-fires at night with my friends and family. My fondest memories are those with my feet in the sand. After graduating from South Fork High School, I began my journey all over the state, moving from Palm Beach to Sarasota to the Florida Keys and eventually back to Martin County because in the end, I truly love it here.
My first formal job was as an Executive Staff Member at a youth Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation program. After my time there, I began my work as a customer service representative and worked my way up to the Chief Operations Officer position with an insurance agency for 15 years, and eventually took a position as a Risk Manager for a large Martin County based law office for 3 years before joining the Firefly family in 2009.
The best thing about working at Firefly is the teamwork. I love working with all my colleagues. It’s a very open and honest atmosphere here, which is conducive to meaningful productivity.
I’m an avid fisherman & blossoming chef. I go fishing & boating just about every weekend with my husband and my beloved superstar son, Dante. If I’m not in a good mood on Monday, it’s probably because as much as I love fishing, I am not much of a “catcher.” Sunday afternoon is my time in the kitchen cooking & watching the Science channel while my family is rooting for their favorite New England sports team in the living room.
I am a sports phenom, and enjoy physical or mental competition with my peers. I love the energy, fun & laughter that come from it. I love a challenge and no matter the game, I always play to win.
