I like to learn new things as often as I can, and thus one of my best friends is Google. If I don’t know an answer, just give me a few minutes to look it up and I’ll learn as much as I possibly can.
But I apply this zest for knowledge to my every day life, and fully engross myself with the needs and goals of a client. With individual desired outcomes, it’s energizing to test new avenues of accomplishing comparable tasks. Whether via traditional media or the vast world of social networking, I enjoy finding the best way to help a client reach their potential, in a way that’s tailored for them.
Origins…
Born in South Florida, I moved from Fort Lauderdale to Martin County in 1998. Graduating from Martin County High School right here in Stuart, I journeyed to the University of Florida (Go Gators!) for college and stayed there to work after I graduated.
I spent most of my undergraduate time on many executive boards and attending lots of planning meetings, loving every minute. I’ve always been one to really dive head first into something I become a part of. After my time in Gainesville, I made my way back to the Treasure Coast and found my home here at The Firefly Group.
Favorite thing about working at Firefly…
As the newest member of Firefly, it’s been more than easy to become a part of the family. For me, that is an important aspect of working in the communications industry - the teamwork. We collaborate on just about everything here, from strategic business plans and community outreach campaigns, to what we’re going to have for lunch. I think the saying goes “Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life.” For me, that couldn’t be more applicable than here at The Firefly Group.
Random tidbits…
Like any woman, I enjoy a fabulous pair of shoes and a good sale any day. I also enjoy baking and trying new recipes as often as I can. Strawberries are my most favorite food item, especially if covered in chocolate, and I could eat salad for the rest of my life! For all of this, I have been dubbed “The Lady” around here. It’s a nickname I hold near and dear, and find myself constantly shopping to uphold my title - or maybe that’s really just because I like shopping!
